The memory I had of the word green takes me back to my first conversation with my first boss who welcomed me to the team despite my technical inexperience.
"It is good to be green"...he said. If I remember correctly, I nearly had an image of the Grinch, a fiction character from Dr Seuss's book "How the Grinch stole Christmas". Being young and unfocused did help when another image of a budding seed quickly appear. I let a small nod and smile at such comforting words.
It has been 6 years of experience since that day but the good intention behind the words sends encouragement whenever I take up new challenges.
